Alta Video is a state-of-the-art facility for DVD and Blu-Ray authoring, encoding, duplication and replication with a fast turnaround, quality and the ultimate professional label design and presentation.
Mastering:
DVD Mastering is the process of burning video from VHS (or other analog or digital video tape) or digital files to a DVD or Blu-Ray disc. Video can be edited to remove unwanted sections, improve image quality, add titles and effects.
Authoring:
Authoring is the process of creating a DVD or Blu-Ray Disc capable of playing the way you want it, with specific chapters, and animated menus, submenus, titles and more - Your DVD is customized to your specifications.
DVD/ BluRay Duplication
Duplication is the process wherein the data is burned directly onto a blank DVD or Blu-Ray from a master. Typically, this process is used for smaller quantities of copies: between 1 and 500.
DVD/BluRay Replication
DVD Replication is a more involved process using a Glass Master made from your master, which is then used to make copies that are stamped (manufactured) from scratch. This process is used for quantities of 500 or more.
DVD/BluRay Printing
Both Duplication and Replication are available with full color labeling, cases and packaging choices for a truly retail-ready, professional finish.
